The Future of Mental Health in India
“If You Give Me a Chance to Speak, I Can Keep Going.”
That's what she smiled & said when we had an conversation with her,
And honestly, it makes her so real! As her journey isn't a straight-up startup story. It's built over years & MeetGoals didn’t start as an idea It started as an experience. Talking about how Misba entered the startup world, the backstory matters.
She began her career in HR, backed by education in HR and Entrepreneurship. She understood organisations from the inside - management expectations, employee tracking systems, performance targets, KPIs. She took the corporate route seriously and experienced how businesses think and operate.
But alongside HR, psychology was always present in her life.
Even before stepping fully into entrepreneurship, she had already trained in psychology. What began as an interest slowly turned into a commitment. Over time, she became deeply involved with the Institute of Clinical Hypnosis and Related Sciences (ICHARS), where her work gradually expanded into training and therapy.
What started as participation became full-time dedication.
From 2017 onwards, she immersed herself in training mental health professionals- psychologists, medical practitioners, social workers equipping them with structured skills in psychotherapy and coaching. The programs weren’t surface-level certifications; they were built around conscious and unconscious behavioural frameworks, integrated psychological models, and real practice-based learning.
Over the years, more than 2,000 practitioners were directly trained under that ecosystem.
Each of them went on to work with multiple individuals. The impact didn’t just grow. It multiplied. And somewhere during those years, a question stayed with her…
If these tools genuinely work why aren’t they accessible to everyone? In India, mental health and psychology have long been treated as sensitive, almost private conversations. Important, yes!
But rarely openly discussed.
The need is real. The challenges are real.
That gap felt too visible to ignore. And that’s where the seed of MeetGoals was planted.
Mental health support is powerful. But access is limited. And most people seek help late. So she decided to build something that could become a first line of support.
AN APP!
MeetGoals Well-being was incorporated about a year & half ago. The idea was to make structured mental health tools reachable - not complicated, not clinical-heavy, but based on solid frameworks. The entire app was built on in-house models developed over years of training. These models integrate multiple psychological approaches cognitive techniques, mindfulness, NLP, clinical hypnosis into one cohesive structure.
Everything was designed to bring uniformity. No fragmented experience. No random modules.
Just one integrated approach.
Initially, it was built as a B2C platform reaching individuals directly. But building a good product and distributing it widely are two different challenges.
“Easier said than done”
And that’s when the pivot happened.
Instead of waiting for individuals to seek support, MeetGoals shifted toward corporate world. Because workplaces are where emotional strain silently impacts productivity. Misba had already seen both sides, as an HR professional and as a psychologist. She knew organisations want performance. Employees want to perform. But sometimes something internal blocks that performance.
MeetGoals now works with companies to address that gap.
Through structured training programs aligned with KAS and KPIs, they go beyond surface-level workshops. They help employees identify emotional and psychological triggers - procrastination, exhaustion, self-doubt, lack of confidence - that directly affect work output.
And importantly, results are measured through the organisation’s own metrics. If deeper support is needed, one-on-one therapy or coaching is offered - fully confidential. Personal data is not shared. Organisational productivity improves without compromising individual privacy.
The differentiation is clear: training, therapy & app-based support - all aligned under-
One framework.
One system.
But, Every founder reaches a phase where clarity becomes more important than capability.
For Misba, being part of the 18startup ecosystem added perspective - stepping into rooms where funding conversations happen, where startup structure is discussed, where business direction is sharpened.
It’s not just about solving a problem.
It’s about positioning it.
Structuring it & Scaling it.
And through the 18startup journey, that shift became more visible.
MeetGoals moved,
- From idea to incorporation.
- From B2C experimentation to B2B strategy.
- From product building to market conversations.
Growth doesn’t always look dramatic. Sometimes it looks like sharper decisions made so simple.
MeetGoals is not another platform,
It is built from 15+ years of lived practice, the experience that really counts.
- Training 2,000+ practitioners.
- Working with clients 1:1
- Understanding both management thinking & employee behaviour.
When she speaks about aligning mental well-being with measurable outcomes, it doesn’t sound experimental. It sounds structured.
MeetGoals didn’t come from a pitch deck. It came from years of watching people struggle silently.
Someone who witnessed the journey closely, we are super proud!
Mental health in India is over complicated. It's talked about in whispers, treated like a luxury only for the rich.
The need is basic, it's real, it's everyday!
That's where MeetGoals is taking the shape. From individuals & organisations, That’s what makes the story different. Some founders start with an idea. Some start with years of understanding people.
Misba started with people & MeetGoals is her way of making sure they’re not left behind.
